ALLISON BARNES

A Sense of Fragility

20 - 30 June 2024, CCAS Manuka

Exhibition Opening 6pm Thursday 20 June 2024

Kamberri/Canberra-based early-career artist Allison Barnes’s exhibition aims to convey her personal response to the existential threat of climate change by juxtaposing contrasting materials and methods including wood, glass, and printed paper in freestanding spatial constructions, wall-mounted structures, and 2D works. The works in this exhibition were created with support from the Capital Arts Patrons' Organisation's 2023 Boris Property Emerging Artist Award.
