KATY MUTTON
(2013)

Katy Mutton’s interest in memory and neurological conditions has led her to produce a narrative body of work exploring the themes of fractured identity, family grief and loss. These works feature highly methodical immersive mark making and are drawn from imagery, objects and documentation directly related to family and events. During her residency at Canberra Contemporary Art Space, Katy plans to develop work using inkjet mono printing techniques, which she has experimented with in previous works.
