ONE HUNG BITCH: VOLUME II

For the final CCAS Gorman Arts Centre opening for 2014 Ramesh Mario Nithiyendran will exhibit One Hung Bitch: Volume II.

Presenting a body of deified dickheads and shitheads through painting and ceramic media. The work is governed by an attempt to present a quasi-spiritual site of phallus worship that addresses issues of queer fertility, misogyny, creation and masculinity. Imagery and symbolism of religion, popular culture, art history, porn and the internet are points of reference and influence. 

 Fresh off the back of winning the $30 000 NSW Visual Arts Fellowship for Emerging Ramesh is an artist going places, One Hung Bitch: Volume II is definitely an exhibition well worth seeing.
