HOLLY GRANVILLE-EDGE
(2012)

Holly Granville-Edge is an artist who uses the photograph as a device for “unravelling and visually assimilating the layered stuff of psychology, perception and memory.” Playing the part of photographer and performer in her images, Holly investigates the “strangeness and complexity” of these themes in relation to her own experience.

During her residency she aims to develop a new series of photographic works, drawing on ideas from her most recent series A mind of its own. She will continue to experiment with “the physical dynamic of performance focusing on the portrayal of reality, illusion and impermanence in the image.”
